Tuesday 10th to Tuesday 17th September 2024

Combine wonderful visits with the opportunity to play golf on courses that could only exist in the home of golf and Northern Ireland. Many of the courses are set in spectacular rolling sand dunes with breathtaking coastal views. The added benefit is that nobody needs to be an expert to enjoy this wonderful cruise.

Tuesday 10th September

Once embarkation was complete, we set sail for our overnight anchorage in Loch na Mile off the Isle of Jura.

Wednesday 11th September

After a morning spent cruising south and round the Mull of Kintyre we arrived in Campbeltown where the golfers teed off at at Dunaverty Golf club during the afternoon and the non-golfers enjoyed a tasting and tour of the Springbank Distillery.

We remained alongside in Campbeltown overnight.

Thursday 12th September

After breakfast, the golfers played the Machrihanish Golf course whilst the non-golfers visited Saddell Abbey and the An Ceardach Garden in the morning and visited the Torrisdale Estate and gin disitillery in the afternoon.

We anchored overnight off Port Ellen, Isle of Islay.

Friday 13th September

From Port Ellen, the golfers played the course at the Machrie whilst the non-golfers visited Finlaggan and the Kilchoman Distillery, with lunch at the Port Charlotte Hotel.

We spent the late afternoon and evening sailing on passage to Lisahally, Londonderry, where we berthed alongside overnight.

Saturday 14th September

The golfers spent the day at Northern Ireland’s finest links course at Ballyliffin.

The non-golfers enjoyed a guided tour of Londonderry with a local guide this morning and free time to explore the city during the afternoon.

We remained alongside in Londonderry overnight.

Sunday 15th September

This morning, the golfers travelled to the Port Stewart golf course to play a round.

The no-golfers visited the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Giant’s Causeway in the morning and toured the Guildhall in Londonderry after lunch.

Returning to Scottish waters, we anchored overnight tonight in Proaig Bay off Islay.

Monday 16th September

After a morning relaxing on board as we cruised on passage towards the Isle of Mull, we arrived and berthed alongside in Craignure in the afternoon, where the golfers played the Craignure golf club and the non-golfers visited Duart Castle.

We anchored overnight in Oban Bay.

Tuesday 17th September

Our disembarking guests we waved farewell by the Captain and crew and we hoped they have enjoyed the cruise.
