Tuesday 17th September
After embarking passengers in Oban, we set sail for our overnight anchorage in Bloody Bay.
Wednesday 18th September
After spending the morning cruising the Sea of the Hebrides, we arrived in South Uist for an afternoon tour of the island which included the Kildonan Museum, home to over 10,000 artefacts charting local history and heritage.
We anchored overnight in the Sound of Eriskay and the Welcome Gala reception was held out on the Skye deck.
Thursday 19th September
After breakfast, we berthed alongside in Castlebay, Barra where a coach was available to take guests on a tour of the island.
Following lunch on board, guests travelled to neighbouring Vatersay for walks on the beach.
We anchored off Vatersay overnight.
Friday 20th September
Steaming across the sea of Hebrides, we made landfall on the Isle of Tiree. Housed in the old signal tower at Hynish, the Skerryvore Lighthouse museum tells the hazardous tale of its construction.
We anchored off Colonsay overnight.
Saturday 21st September
Ashore at Scalasaig, guests enjoyed a morning visit to Colonsay House Gardens which contain many exotic species from the southern hemisphere.
In the afternoon, guests experienced the thrill of a beach landing at West Loch Tarbert, Isle of Jura, and walks on the raised beaches.
We anchored off Port Ellen, Islay overnight.
Sunday 22nd September
On the whisky isle of Islay, the morning was spent at Kilchoman Distillery for a tour and tasting.
In the afternoon, guests enjoyed free time to explore at leisure independently.
We remained alongside in Port Ellen overnight.
Monday 23rd September
Our final island port of call wads the Isle of Gigha where the woodland gardens of Achamore House were designed by Sir James Horlick.
Afternoon walks ashore at Tayvallich allowed for a final stretch of legs along the scenic shores of Loch Sween.
The farewell gala dinner was held at anchor in Oban Bay.
Thursday 24th September
Disembarkation took place after breakfast in Oban and we wish our guests a safe journey home.
