Thursday 8th to Friday 16th August 2024
We are delighted to welcome walkers and strollers alike on this walking cruise through Eire in the stimulating company of our experienced walking guides. Revel in the lush, soulful landscapes of the beautiful Emerald Isle and take in its timeless, spiritual beauty.
Thursday 8th August
Embarkation took place alongside in Dublin, Eire, where we remained overnight.
Friday 9th August
This morning coaches were available to transport the walkers to Howth Head for a cliff walk and the strollers for a morning tour of Killruddery House Gardens.
When all guests were safely back on board, they enjoyed a sail away from Dublin and we spent the afternoon cruising south on passage towards our overnight anchorage in Bannow Bay.



Saturday 10th August
During breakfast, we arrived and berthed alongside in Waterford (Belview). The walkers embarked on a full day walk to Carrickafoyle Nature Reserve and Wexford.







The strollers visited Johnstown Castle and Wexford and lunch was served at Peacock café in Johnstown Castle grounds.












We anchored in Dunvargen bay overnight.
Sunday 11th August
After a morning spent cruising the south coast of Ireland, we arrived in Kinsale where the walkers embarked on an Estuary Walk to Charles Fort.
The strollers enjoyed a Kinsale Culinary walking tour with a local guide.









We anchored overnight in Cobh.
Monday 12th August
This morning walkers took the train to Fota Wildlife park and house and walked in the gardens and Arboretum.


















Meanwhile, the strollers took a city tour of Cork with local guide in the morning. In the afternoon, they explored Cobh Heritage Centre or explored Cobh independently.
















We arrived and berthed alongside in Waterford late tonight where we remained overnight.
Tuesday 13th August
A full day walk on Comeragh Mountains towards Mahon Falls awaited our walkers today.









The strollers took a walk-through Viking Waterford tour in the morning and visited Waterford Crystal Museum in the afternoon.












We anchored in Bannow Bay overnight.
Wednesday 14th August
Today was spent cruising the south east coast of Ireland on passage towards our overnight berth in Dun Laoghaire.





Thursday 15th August
In Dun Laoghaire plaques were exchanged with Harbour Master Captain Harry Duggan and Hamilton shipping agent Alexandra Svec.




The walkers enjoyed a full day walk on the Wicklow Mountains and to Powerscourt House and Gardens with a packed lunch.








The strollers embarked on a morning city tour of Dublin and afternoon visit to St. Patricks and Christchurch Cathedrals.
We berthed alongside in Dun Laoghaire overnight.
Friday 16th August
Disembarkation took place after breakfast and guests were waved a fond farewell by the Captain and crew.
