Tuesday 2nd to Tuesday 9th July

Enjoy the magic and splendour of the Hebrides from the Inner isles of Skye, Muck and Rum, to the tranquility of the Shiant Isles and the Outer Isle of Harris where ancient history and traditions combine with some of the most unique scenery in Britain. A truly unforgettable experience, all bathed in the glory of summer.

Tuesday 2nd July

Once all the guests had safely embarked in Oban, we set sail for our overnight anchorage in Bloody Bay.

Wednesday 3rd July

Our voyage commenced with a visit to the Isle of Rum, for morning walks ashore on the island.

We spent the afternoon cruising The Sound of Sleat and Kyle Rhea narrows on passage to the Kyle of Lochalsh where we berthed overnight. Following dinner guests enjoyed local entertainment in the Tiree Lounge.

Thursday 4th July

After breakfast, guests disembarked for a morning visit to Attadale gardens. After returning to the ship for lunch, the afternoon was spent exploring the iconic Eilean Donan Castle, powerfully poised on an island where three sea lochs meet.

In the late afternoon, we sailed across the Minch and anchored in Tarbert, Isle of Harris, overnight.

Friday 5th July

This morning guests visited the Harris distillery for a tour and tasting and also enjoyed a panoramic tour of the island.

In the afternoon, we sailed into Loch Dunvegan, Isle of Skye, where guests discovered the MacLeod stronghold of Dunvegan Castle and Gardens.

We anchored off the Shiant Isles overnight.

Saturday 6th July

After breakfast, guests were taken on a small boat tour of the Shiant Isles to observe the abundant bird life.

Afternoon strolls at the pretty village of Shieldaig allowed guests to stretch their legs.

We anchored in Shieldaig overnight.

Sunday 7th July

Sunday morning dawned bright and sunny for a cruise through the Inner Sound, Skye Bridge, Kyle Rhea and the Sound of Sleat.

Our afternoon port of call was the Isle of Muck where guests enjoyed walks on the island and refreshments at Choc-Ness.

We anchored in Salen overnight.

Monday 8th July

Ashore at Salen after breakfast, morning walks through the ancient oak woods and around Loch Sunart were enjoyed.

Our final port of call was Tobermory, Isle of Mull, where guests had free time to explore the town and the colourful shops which line the harbour.

We sailed in the early evening and, during the Farewell Gala Dinner we arrived and berthed alongside in Oban where we remained overnight.

Tuesday 9th July

Disembarkation took place after breakfast and we wish all our guests a safe journey home.
