Officially Londonderry, Derry is Northern Ireland’s second-largest city, in County Londonderry. It spans both banks of the River Foyle: the historic walled Cityside to the west, and the Waterside to the east, linked by two road bridges and a pedestrian footbridge, connecting communities and shaping the city’s riverside character.
