Lundy is the largest island in the Bristol Channel, lying 12 miles off the coast of Devon, where the Atlantic ocean meets the Bristol Channel. A granite outcrop, three miles long and half a mile wide, Lundy is owned by the National Trust and managed by the Landmark Trust. Lundy’s position creates a unique combination of environmental conditions that have given rise of a considerable selection of habitats that in turn support a variety of rare and spectacular wildlife above and below the waves.
